Payment & Cancellation Policies

Payment Policy

 To secure reservations, 50% of the total package cost, per angler, is due Stafford Creek Lodge (SCL) within 14 days of receiving a written confirmation.

 Reservations that have not been secured with a deposit are not considered firm or valid, and may be cancelled; we will attempt to notify you before canceling your reservations.

 Final payment is due 60 days before the angler’s and/or group’s arrival date at SCL. For reservations made less than four months prior to arrival date, full payment is required within twenty one days of receiving a confirmation.

 All deposits and payments are non-refundable. Stafford Creek Lodge recommends that all customers take out travel insurance.

 SCL reserves the right to charge a handling fee of $400 per person for any cancellations or dates changed after confirmation.

 Cancellation Policy

 To cancel your reservation: please do so in writing, and ensure that you receive a written confirmation of the cancellation from SCL.

 Upon cancellation, SCL will deduct a $400.00 handling fee per person from deposits and payments received.

 The following transfers will be made, only with written cancellation notice:

Cancellation received 120 or more days (4 months) prior to arrival date – payment in full minus the cancellation fee will be applied to a future trip.*

Cancellation received 90-119 days (3 months) prior to arrival date – 60% minus the cancellation fee will be applied to a future trip.*

Cancellation received 60-89 days (2 months) prior to arrival date – 50% minus the cancellation fee will be applied to a future trip.*

Cancellation received 30-59 days (1 month) prior to arrival date – 25% minus the cancellation fee will be applied to a future trip.*

Cancellation within received 0-29 days prior to arrival date – no transfers.

*Said trip is to be taken within one year of the original arrival date, and new dates will be based on availability. 

 If a hurricane warning is issued for Andros Island, 50% payment will be transferred to a later trip. SCL is booked far in advance. We will do our best to reschedule your trip.

 SCL’s receipt of deposit and/or final payment is acknowledgement that all clients accept the Payment and Cancellation policies

Travel Insurance

We feel compelled to strongly suggest all guests who make confirmed reservations with us here at Stafford Creek lodge take out a separate travel insurance, to cover themselves in the event of an unforeseen cancellation of there trip, due to illness, death, business/family problems, weather conditions, in order to prevent financial loss.

If a guest has to cancel, we are unable to return/transfer funds made in full on any booking due to any condition other than stated on our cancellation policy. We are a small operation, offering personal attention and a high standard of service and fishing.
